Calendula-API provides a prepaid API access service. Authenticated API requests are metered against a credit balance tied to an API key. One credit is consumed per authenticated request.
Each new account receives a fixed number of free credits upon registration. No payment method is required to access the free tier. Free credits are subject to the same consumption rules as purchased credits.
Additional credits may be purchased in fixed-size packs. Available packs and their current prices are listed on the pricing page. Purchases are one-time and processed by Stripe or PayPal, third-party payment processors. Calendula-API does not store card numbers or other payment credentials. By completing a purchase you also agree to the terms of your chosen payment processor: Stripe's Terms of Service or PayPal's User Agreement.
Purchased credits are issued as a new API key. You may use that key independently or merge its credits into an existing key from your dashboard without changing your integration code.
The price of each credit pack is shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout before payment is collected. Prices may change at any time. The price displayed at the time of purchase is the price you pay.
All purchases are final and non-refundable. Credits are a digital good delivered immediately upon purchase. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for unused credits. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at the address listed in our contact information within 14 days of the transaction and we will review your case.
Credits do not expire. However, credits are tied to an account and are non-transferable outside of the merge feature available in your dashboard. If an account is terminated for violation of these terms, any remaining credits are forfeited without refund.
When a key's credit balance reaches zero, the API returns HTTP 402 Payment Required. Requests are not queued or deferred. You may purchase additional credits at any time from the pricing page.
There is no subscription. Each credit pack is a one-time purchase and there is nothing to cancel. You may stop using the service at any time; unused credits remain in your account indefinitely.
Calendula-API reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered account holders.
